I ordered the two meats combo with rice (roast duck and crispy pork belly) along with an iced lemon tea for lunch, and later had the noodle soup with prawn wonton dumplings for dinner. Overall, the food was quite decent and I would say the quality and taste were worth the price paid.
However, my experience was affected by the service. One staff member at the reception, a young woman wearing glasses, came across as quite rude and lacked basic customer communication skills. A more polite and welcoming attitude would have made the experience much more enjoyable. I hope the restaurant provides better customer service training in the future, as the food itself was enjoyable.
Come here if you want simple Chinese food at reasonable prices with no service charge. Water and glasses are available self service from the counter. It seems like they prefer cash payment but card is possible too. Please update your website address here as it's not loading.
Not your typical restaurant but pretty good for what it is. Great service, freshly cooked dishes, good choice. I found portions being very big.
Very affordable prices, place it always busy but has many seats available. It seems that they are mostly specialize on take aways.
Used to come here with my dad often when I was a kid, the food is still great, staffs not as friendly as they used to be. Thank you.
The original and best noodle place in London, been coming here for decades and it’s still the best Chinese food around. Amazing Hot and Sour Soup and superb Stir Fry Crispy Noodles. A great little place full of character and always full of happy customers. Well worth a visit.
This place has had the the same family and team serving for year and they always greet with a smile and a warm welcome.
It’s always good to eat in such a cosy atmosphere and watch all the wonderful dishes that everyone is having. A nice place to see all the wonderful people from around the world visiting and also living in London.
